Welcome to Great Agent! We are excited to start this process with you and get you set up for success. To help you get set up and running as quickly as possible, we have put together a series of quick steps on everything you can do to put GA to work in your business.
If it looks like a lot, don't worry, you don't have to get this done in one sitting! Start with The Basics and check out our other training videos!
The Basics
1. Accept your invitation
The email to keep an eye out will have the subject, Welcome to [CompanyName]. Click the blue button in the email to set up your account!
Once you click the blue button, "Set Up Your Account" you will be taken to a screen to create a new password, upload your head shot and update your profile information.
2. Setting up your profile
As part of set up in step 1 you will enter in your email, phone and office number, as well as your title. Once you press "Finish" you will need to continue setting up your profile.
In the Settings (wheel icon, left side) under Profile:
- Complete bio - this will be shown on your website profile
- Set up your work phone number. Start by entering in the are code, then press "Find Available Numbers". After selecting the number you want press Save
- Connect your email address (instructions in step 3)
3. Connect your email address
To connect your email address you will need to stay or go to your Profile in the settings. Connecting your email will allow your other lead sources to flow in to the CRM and let you see emails on the timeline to leads in the CRM you sent directly from your gmail or outlook account. We don't look at any emails for anyone who is not in the CRM already.
- Select your email provider
- Select the email you want to connect
- You will see a gray link at bottom right, "Go to Great Agent, Inc"
- Allow Great Agent to access your email
4. Connect your Google Calendar
After connecting your email you may need to wait a few minutes and refresh the calendar page before connecting. On the left hand side of your google calendar, you should see different calendars, one of them being Great Agent. Just check that box and now tasks and appointments created in the CRM will show up there!
5. Going Mobile
We know you probably spend more time in the car and showing houses, so be sure to get the Great Agent shortcut on your phone! Also allow notifications so you won’t miss a beat.
6. Turn on push notifications for supporting devices
Push notifications are the little pop ups in the bottom of your screen or the drop down pop up on your phone. With Great Agent the push notification will let you know if someone is calling your GA number, you have a task or an email or text.
If your device allows it push notifications will need to be turned on on both your computer and phone.
Go to your settings -> Notifications. Make sure the toggle is turned on for Push Notifications. You will need to do this on both your computer and phone.
7. Get your database in Great Agent
Importing your past clients, sphere of influence and current leads is a great way to continue to grow your business. Stay on top of leads you're currently working with and top of mind for your sphere!
