Tasks can help you with your day-to-day lead management and follow-up. You can create tasks to function as reminders when you need to take the next steps with a specific lead.
Adding Tasks
Tasks can be added in three different ways: from the lead table, from the lead's details page, and via an Action Plan
To add a task from the lead table, click on the + Add Task link within the Tasks column. The Add Task modal will open, where you can select the task type, add a description and set a due date/time.
On the lead details page, click + Add New Task and you will see the same modal.
Via Action Plans, you can set a task to be automatically created on a certain interval during the course of your Action Plan.
Quick Follow-up
Instead of adding a new task via the Add Task modal, you can always use the Quick Followup shortcut to quickly set a task to follow up with a lead.
Task Management
From the lead table, you can see all of your upcoming (and overdue) tasks via the tasks column. You can also filter your leads to view only leads with tasks due today using Today's Tasks option from the Saved Views drop-down.
Just click on the task for the desired lead and you can view a list of all upcoming (and completed) tasks in the task modal.
From the lead detail page, tasks will be listed in a table form with the nearest due task listed first.
